Gloucester Choral Society presents Bach’s St Matthew Passion, led by acclaimed choral and orchestral director, Adrian Partington. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Bach’s iconic masterpiece live in the historic setting of Gloucester Cathedral.

The St Matthew Passion is considered to be one of the greatest works of choral music ever written. Whether you’re a fan of Bach or simply looking for a moving and unforgettable musical experience, this full performance of the work is not to be missed.

The St Matthew Passion is a sizeable and complex work, so this concert will be presented in two sittings, from 4 – 5.30 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Audience members will therefore have ample opportunity for audience members to break so both parts can be enjoyed in comfort.
